NFL Season
last season on the NFL:
a new champion was crowned, as the Eagles soared above the leaders of Kansas City, dethroning the man who’s rocket arm and innovation at the QB position has him revered as a formidable opponent,
so where does that leave the rest of the league?
let’s start in the NFC
the Eastern division is run by the aforementioned Eagles, led by their former Giant who’s grown wings and now can reverse hurdle opponents without breaking a sweat, a QB who aims to Hurt the competition: whether be with rushing for a touchdown, throwing for one or blinding them with the shine of his jewels..
behind them is a young gunslinger who Commands the Washington team in hopes of tasting similar success to his rookie season, growing into a potential threat in the East. the Cowboys attempt to tend to the cattle and return to their former years, led by a Lamb who’s attempts to grow into a full sheep followed by the Giants who once were larger then life but now appear smaller then before.
out in the North:
the Bears want to maim the division, with their crew attempting to show their Grizzly nature. the Lions from Detroit attempt to roar their way back into the postseason, led by their backfield of Sonic and Knuckles, a formidable one-two punch. the Vikings aim to pillage thru the competition, led by their jet-setting wide receiver Jefferson who continues to break records and claim the narrative of the best WR in the league, while the Pack that hails from Green Bay uses their love for the game to blow through the comp out north in attempts to regain taste of victory
down South:
the Falcons screech in Atlanta, alerting the competition that they are here and ready for what comes next.. the Panthers, once a ferocious cat, now seemingly tame,, claims to regain the narrative out in Carolina. the Saints of New Orleans aim to make the Bayou lively and rampant again with their back, AK-41, as they’ve lost what was once a vivacious lifestyle in Louisiana, grounding to silence with no success as of late.. and the Buccaneers out in Tampa Bay aim to attack like their ancestors did in the earlier centuries, plundering success and loot from the opponents en route to the elusive Lombardi trophy
out West:
the Cardinals out in the deserts of Arizona attempt to regain flight, the Seahawks attempt to fly inland and show who the more dominant bird truly is.. the Rams want to bulldoze out of Los Angeles into Santa Clara where Super Bowl LX will be and the 49ers aim to reignite the Gold Rush that once had them the talk of San Francisco with their record breaking back, Run CMC.
out in the AFC:
in the East: the Bills of Buffalo, led by their strong arm MVP, Josh Allen, attempt to take over the East..
the Dolphins out in Miami, with their Cheetah destroying defenses with his speed attempt to stop that. the Patriots attempt to display their national pride, vying to return to the days of a dynasty led by arguably the greatest player of all time.. while the Jets aim to use their weaponry, ambushing the competition on their way into the postseason.
in the North:
the flock of Ravens hailing from Baltimore, led by dual threat Action Jackson and their King Henry, seek revenge after being sent home early whilst being favored to win..
the Bengals of Cincinnati, led by their QB who’s nerves of steel and calm demeanor in tandem with their WR you must Chase to catch aim to stay healthy, showing their tiger stripes and claim a postseason position, having not seen any action after the season ended since 2022..
the Steelers of Pittsburgh, wearing colors of gold and black, aim to show that their coach, who’s legacy yields controversy having not experienced a losing season in his career but tasting very little playoff success, hangs in the balance..
and the Browns.. well.. controversy befuddles Cleveland, as their team manages to be bombarded with claims of off-the field controversy and less then ideal actions + injuries to their head QB leaves their future unknown.
down in the South:
Houston’s Texans are attempting to figure out the situation, as key injuries and departures have their future uncertain and fans wondering if their star QB’s 2nd-year regression was a fluke .. or cause for concern.
out in Indianapolis, the situation looks confusing: on one hand, it seems like there were glimpses of hope and light.. on another: shots seemed inaccurate leaving the hands of their AR5, leaving questions on whether he could lead the air assault and whether he could fill the shoes of larger-then-life QBs before him: the Luck of the Draw and a Sheriff who’s “Omaha” call silenced opponents.. but the ground game seems to be there, as their former rushing leader Taylor seeks to lead this team of Colts right back into the success of years prior.
the Jaguars aim to show their size as the largest cat in the Americas and plan to use it’s powerful bite to take out it’s pr- competition in the division and the Titans, with their Warden aiming to imprison defenses with his accuracy, hope to do anything but repeat last season.
out West:
the Raiders aim to pillage through the West, defying narratives that they cannot win.. but with the Charges, led by their QB who wields the throws of lightning, a team of Broncos who aim to buck and run through the division and the previously mentioned Chiefs, who’s storied franchise and willingness to win has shown them in postseason success..
there are no guarantees.. except for entertainment. with players suiting up on new teams, rookies entering with the vision to make their legacy and controversies all over..
what’s next? on the NFL
