last season on the WNBA..
a new champion was crowned, as New York’s Liberty raised their torch in celebration of winning the championship.
this season, they aim to recreate the success but the road to victory won’t be easy.
out in Indiana, the Fever are preparing to scorch like rising body temperatures, led by their All-Star and ROTY, Caitlin Clark, who rattles competition with her deep range shooting + playmaking capabilities..
the Mystics of Washington aim to be just as unreal and magical as they sound.. the Connecticut Sun want to be as hot as the real deal, aiming to set it off to the degree that they can’t be touched during the regular season.
the Atlanta Dream have dreams of being the team that seems unreal in the possibility of grasping their position, whilst the Chicago Sky aim to be just like the Willis Tower, piercing the atmosphere with their success and leaving everyone else beneath them, similar to the views from the 110th floor led by their rebounding champion Angel Reese, her former LSU teammate Hailey Van Lith and Kamila Cardoso
out West:
the Lynx of Minnesota aim to maul the competition with their grit and tenacity, led by Napheese Collier. out in the deserts of Phoenix, the Mercury aim to be as lethal as the name: one bit of contact and internal destruction as teams attempt to slow down their forward duo in Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas. out in the city of Angels, the Los Angeles Sparks attempt to spark success, led by recently acquired All-Star G Kelsey Plum and co.. Dallas’ Wings with the 1st overall pick, highly touted Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale, seek to soar higher then everyone else en route to seeking claim to a title.. the Golden State Valkyries seek to do the same thing..
the Seattle team attempt to Storm like the name suggests and route through the conference on their way to claiming a playoff spot whilst the Las Vegas Aces, led by generational star and multi time MVP A’ja Wilson, try to throw their card on the table, vying to return to the WNBA Finals but walk away in triumph rather then disappointment as their last season ended.
with rivalries growing, rookies making debuts, players returning from injuries and the WNBA Championship Trophy on the line.. anything can be expected.
find out next.. on the WNBA.
